Flagship 3D DIC System
Full-field strain and displacement measurement for components and structures. Scales from coupon to full-scale testing.
ARAMIS Adjustable 12M mounts a pair of 12 megapixel cameras on an adjustable base. Changing the camera separation and lens pairing changes the measuring volume, so a single system covers work that would otherwise need several fixed sensors. That suits laboratories where the specimen changes from week to week.
It measures full-field strain, 3D displacement, and six-degree-of-freedom motion without contact, and synchronizes with force, temperature, and voltage through the ARAMIS Controller. For higher spatial resolution over the same volume, step up to ARAMIS Adjustable 24M. Where the setup never changes, the fixed-base ARAMIS 3D 12M is the more repeatable choice.
Part of the ZEISS ARAMIS Optical Strain family. The measurement principle is explained on our Digital Image Correlation page, and community good-practice guidance is published by the International DIC Society.

The adjustable base lets you retune the measuring volume for each test. The fixed base holds one calibrated geometry, which is preferable when the same test repeats and setup time matters more than flexibility.
Choose ARAMIS Adjustable 24M when you need finer spatial resolution across the same field of view, typically for small strain gradients, fine crack detection, or larger measuring volumes where you still want dense data.
Through the t.Cert workflow in the Trilion Automation Suite, which verifies the system against a NIST-traceable t.Check gauge block and produces automated pass and fail reports aligned to ASTM E83-25.
Yes to both. System rental covers short programs and evaluation, on-site measurement puts our engineers on your test, and offsite lab services run it in our lab. On-site training is available when you want the capability in house.
